Before you use this feature, the moderator must turn it on (the moderator is whoever starts the meeting). Anyone can ask a question, and all questions will be visible to everyone unless they are deleted or hidden.
To turn on Q&A: find the Activities button in the top-right corner. Click Questions, then turn on Q&A. You can now ask questions.
To ask questions: click on the Activities button in the top-right corner, then click Questions. In the lower-right corner, click Ask a question. You can now type your question and press Post. Participants have the option to either reply in the meeting chat, or answer verbally during the meeting.
You can filter questions by clicking the Activities button in the top-right corner, then clicking Questions. From here you can click the down arrow next to All Questions, and select one of the following options: All questions, Unanswered questions, Answered questions, Hidden questions. Note: Participants can only filter by all questions or questions they asked.
To upvote a question: click on the question, a click Upvote (thumbs up).
To mark a question answered: click on the question, click Answered (check mark).
To hide a question: click on the question, click Hide (eye with a line through it).
To delete a question: click on the question, click Delete (little trash can). Moderators can delete any question, participants can only delete their own.
You can sort questions by popularity (measured in upvotes) or chronologically. Next to Popular, click the Down arrow and select whichever sorting order you prefer.
A Questions Report will be emailed to moderators after the meeting. In this report, the moderator can see all the asked, hidden, and deleted questions, along with the names of participants.
